Athletic Training
This Freshman Learning Community introduces students to the field. It focuses on courses that are important to the major in athletic training and gives students hands-on exposure to current issues and future directions.
The director of the FLC is Jeremy Searson who is the director of Sports Medicine for Tuscaloosa Therapy.
The Freshman Learning Community links the FLC 101 seminar with Mr. Searson to Freshman composition (EN 101 or 103); HAT 257, Introduction to Athletic Training; and NHM 101, Introduction to Nutrition.
