Discovery (Identifying Academic and Career Interests)
This community assists you in defining your academic and career interests. The process begins with getting to know more about yourself as well as learning about University resources and career possibilities.
The courses that compose this community are Learning Strategies (BEP 110), freshman composition (English 101 or 103), and the one-hour integrative seminar (FLC 101).
The directors of this freshman learning community are Dr. Ann Webb, assistant dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and Ms. Ellen Pate, career consultant in the UA Career Center.
