
This Freshman Learning Community is for students who want to be high school teachers or are considering this as a possible career. Students take courses that are important parts of secondary education programs and that meet General Education Requirements in many programs across the University.
The courses are English 101/103, Psychology 101, BCE 101, and FLC 101.
The directors of the Aspiring High School Teachers FLC are Dr. James McLean, Dean of the College of Education, and Dr. Kathy Wetzel, Assistant Dean of the College of Education.
